Radiant Floor Heating - Over-floor PackagesRadiantmax’s Over-floor radiant heating packages are designed for the installation of a radiant system over the sub-floor. We include all the parts necessary including the Radiantmax aluminum heat transfer plates. We don’t include the 5/8” particle board. Why pay us to cut up plywood and ship it to you when you can buy it locally at Home Depot or Lowes. Our competition sells systems with different types of plywood products included, some with thin aluminum foil coatings, and most with smaller 3/8” diameter tubing. We use 1/2” BPEX tubing on 8” centers, and we highly recommend using our aluminum heat transfer plates. They increase heat transfer by over 30 percent which means lower water temperatures, shorter boiler running time and lower heating bills! Our larger tube diameter means a higher output per square foot is possible when needed. Having to provide supplemental heat is an expensive option.

Installation: Rip the 4 x 8 sheets into 7" strips and use the plates as an alignment guide as you nail the strips and the plates down. It’s that easy!
