Eagle Mountain - Training
Center for Green Technology and Innovation
Eagle Mountain’s dedication to the environment goes a step further than its vast array of alternative energy products with its Center for Green Technology – a training and education facility dedicated to “green” construction techniques and sustainability.
About 3,600 square feet of the new Eagle Mountain headquarters is dedicated to classroom facilities. “Part of our goal is to teach people what it means to be energy efficient,” says Eagle Mountain's president, Doug Mossbrook. And that it can be done at a reasonable cost.
Builders and architects interested in Eagle Mountain’s geothermal, radiant heat and solar products can learn how to use them in traditional ways or apply them in new ways.
“Even though we design, manufacture and sell mechanical equipment, we want people to think about the big picture,” Mossbrook said. He also envisions seminars for local colleges, as well as ones for people in the trade to gain certifications.
